'BJP may tamper EVMs if they sense loss': APCC President Ripun Bora

Guwahati, April 24, 2019:

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Ripun Bora on Wednesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sensing their defeat may resort to tampering the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

Addressing the media, Ripun Bora said, “The Election Commission of India did not take any action on EVM malfunctioning. ECI are puppets of the BJP.”

“The party is demanding all the volunteers in the strong room to monitor the process of counting as we have lost faith on the state government, Election Commission, and the Government machinery. The BJP sensing their defeat may resort to tampering of EVMs,” he added.
