BJP readies ‘star campaigners’ for Assam, PM Modi to arrive on March 30

Guwahati, March 23, 2019:

The BJP party is all set to roll out the red carpet in Assam to 'star campaigners' in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam which shall be held in three phases on April 11, 18, and 23.

As per a list released by the party, singing sensation Babul Supriyo shall campaign for the party in Kamrimganj (SC) Constituency on March 26.

UP BJP leader Mahendra Singh shall address a gathering at Silchar on March 25, while BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav and sitting Mangaldai MP Ramen Deka will address a gathering at the Autonomous District (ST) on March 24.

Meanwhile, BJP state President Ranjeet Kr. Dass and actress Rupa Ganguly will participate in a campaign rally in Nagaon on March 26.

Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Hamirpur MP Anurag Singh Thakur are expected to rally the party’s supporters in Tezpur on March 25.

Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal will grace Lakhimpur on March 25, while Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will address the party supporters on March 26.

Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will address rallies at Jorhat on March 25 and at Mangaldoi on March 26. In Mangaldoi, Biswa Sarma will be joined by Dr. Mahendra Singh.

A rally will also be held in Guwahati on March 26 where Chief Minister Sonowal will be the star attraction.

As per reports, the BJP’s star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address twin rallies at Moran and Gohpur on March 30.
