BJP’s Sonitpur office attacked by unknown miscreants

Guwahati, 25 January 2019:

On Thursday night, unknown miscreants attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district office in Tezpur’s Sonitpur district.

The miscreants damaged minor properties while also set on fire banners and posters of the office.

According to reports, the BJP workers were informed by people who came out for a jog in the morning and saw burning flags in the office premises.

Sonitpur District BJP has lodged a complaint with the police following the incident.

Meanwhile, police and CRPF have been deployed to prevent any untoward situation in the area.
