Black clothing banned in Guwahati’s Janata Bhawan!

Guwahati, January 26, 2019:

Janata Bhawan in Dispur on Monday has issued an order prohibiting any black dress code and the carrying of any black cloth within the office in view of the protest going on against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 as protestors of the Bill are using black clothes as a sign of protest against the Government.

Anyone visiting Janata Bhawan with anything black on them shall not be allowed to enter, authorities have warned.

It may be mentioned that people in the entire state have been protesting against the Bill. Many protestors have moved to the streets waving black flags to many noted ministers of the state such as Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, State BJP President Ranjit Kumar Dass, BJP MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, MP Susmita Dev, and many more.
