Baruah Said, “Advertisements were published against the vacant posts, including that of the VC. The process is going on and the last date for submission of application is October 15, 2018. Until then, I am responsible to perform my duties as underlined in the Bodoland University Act. The recruitment process will conclude after proper verification by the acting members concerned”.
He said he himself had urged the state government to invite the vigilance team to probe irregularities as alleged.
“The agitators did not allow the team to enter the campus. If they continue to do so, the entire fraternity will suffer, thus affecting the entire administration as well as education system,” Baruah said.
