BPF EXPRESSED RESENTMENT OVER ALLOCATION OF PORTFOLIOS TO COUNCIL OF MINISTERS

Breach in opinion is viable in the Sonowal led BJP government soon after the allocation of Portfolios  to the new Assam Cabinet.

Bodoland People's Front,  an ally of the BJP led government in Assam, after the expansion of the Cabinet now holds a total of 3 berths in the 18 ministers packed Assam Cabinet. Pramila Rani Brahma has been given the departments of Social Welfare and Soil Conservation, Chandan Brahma to look after Tourism,  Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes, and Rihan Diamary is incharge of Public Health Engineering and Co-Operation. Although content at this, yet the Party expresses grievances regarding the Departments they are entrusted with.

The Ministers are of the opinion that they have not been confirmed with any pivotal departments.
