Kokrajhar: President of Bodoland People's Front(BPF) Hagrama Mohilary said that BPF will voice on scheduling Congress-AIUDF alliance in the state just after the ensuing general elections to the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

BPF president and former chief of BTC, Mohilary on Tuesday addressed mass gathering at Titaguri Janagaon ground under Debargaon constituency and Habrubari under Dotma constituency in Kokrajhar district to woo the common voters ahead the BTR election.

Mohilary said that the BTR election would be held in the first week of December next and next BTR legislative assembly would be formed by second week of the December from BPF party.

Mohilary also said that BPF party is fully prepared to contest the elections with mass support as people from all walks of life are coming forward to extend support to the BPF party in the elections.

Notably, BPF party is contesting in 37 seats of the 40 member house of the BTR legislative assembly. UPPL contesting in 40,GSP 35,BJP 26,Congress 13 and AIUDF 7 in the BTR elections.

Hagrama Mohilary said that his party is fully confident of getting massive support to win the ensuing BTR elections as party has been dedicating towards the upliftment and development work for all sections of the citizens.

He further added that the BPF party is committed to work for the development and welfare of the citizens as party has been relentlessly taking welfare steps.

Mohilary is optimistic that no other party can win the hearts of common voters besides the BPF party.

"Many parties including BJP,UPPL,GSP can claim to win majority seats in the BTR legislative assembly elections, but they can't score majority magic number in the BTR elections as BPF party is getting massive support", Mohilary said.

Mohilary further added that "BPF party wholeheartedly devoted for all round development and welfare for all sections of citizens in the region. BPF will stress deep to extend massive welfare aspects for the citizens if BPF party voted to the power in the BTR".

Mohilary said that BPF will not comment more on the scheduling Congress-AIUDF grand alliance, and will voice on the Congress-AIUDF grand alliance just after the BTR election.

In the mass gathering at Titaguri in Kokrajhar, Assam Social welfare minister and senior BPF leader Pramila Rani Brahma also claimed that her party is fully confident of to Win 30 seats of the 40 member house of BTR legislative assembly. She said that BPF party has emphasize more integrity and commitment towards social uplift and development in the region.
