November 5, 2018:</div><p></p><div dir="ltr"></div><p></p><div dir="ltr">State Election Commission has announced that the Assam panchayat election will be held on December 5 and December 9.</div><p></p><div dir="ltr"><p>The election will be held in two phases and the results will be declared on December 12.</p><p>The commission informed that the in the first phase, the voting will be held in 16 districts and in the second phase the voting will be held in 10 districts.</p></div><p></p><div dir="ltr"><p>A total of 23,505 polling stations will be set up in the state for the elections.</p><p></p><div class="yj6qo"></div><p></p></div></div>
