BREAKING: CIT Kokrajhar asks students to vacate hostels within April 22

KOKRAJHAR: The authority of the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) in Kokrajhar has asked all the students except postgraduate and Ph.D. to vacate the hostels within 22 Apri1, 2021 due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in Assam. The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held yesterday.

"This has been decided by the authority keeping in view the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," said a release.

The decision will be reviewed by 7 May 2021 and further updates will be notified accordingly, it added.

Recently CIT has finished almost all the exams of the odd semester in offline mode. It has now decided to resume all the classes will through online mode as per the academic calendar and timetable notified by the authority.
