DISPUR: Assam's Chief Electoral Officer Nitin Khade has informed that the Draft Electoral Rolls in respect of all the 126 Constituencies of Assam have been published by the Election Registration Officers have been published by the Electoral Registration Officers today.
According to a release issued by Khade, the Draft Electoral Rolls will be available for inspection with the Booth Level Officers and Electoral Registration Officers.
How to inspect the Electoral Rolls?
To inspect the electoral rolls, one may log into www.ceoassam.in and www.nvsp.in.
The CEO via today's communique also informed that all the eligible Indian citizens who will be 18 years on January 1, 2021, can register their names as voters from November 18 2020 to Decvember 15 2020.

"Application for registration, deletion of names from Electoral Roll, correction of entries, in the electoral rolls and transposition of name from one polling station to another polling station in the same Constituency can be submitted online through www.ceoassam.in and ww.nvsp.in," the notice stated, adding that the forms shall also be available with the Booth Level Officer and the Electoral Registration Officer.
As on November 18, 2020, there are 1,14,25,748 male electors and 1,10,13,774 (total 2,24,39,522) in the draft e-roll.
Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Assam in April 2021.
