InsideNE has received a copy of the Legislative Business that will be conducted tomorrow. In news that is bound to send shockwaves across the nation, the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill is the third Bill that is to be raised for discussion tomorrow (at roughly 12 noon).

As per the arrangements, Rajnath Singh, the Union Home Minister is to “move that the Bill further to amend the Citizenship Act (1955) be taken into consideration.”

Further, the Home Minister is also slated to move that the Bill be passed.

This latest development in the saga of the Bill is sure to send tremors of shock and disbelief across the wide expanse of the Indian subcontinent as the Government’s decision to amend the Citizenship Act has been met with widespread protests.
