Breaking| Probability of extension of Rajya Sabha session until February 15

Guwahati, February 12, 2019:

The parliamentary affairs minister Vijay Goel has requested for the extension of dates of Rajya Sabha session till February 15.

It may be mentioned that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government has been acting adamant over the amendment of Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Meanwhile, Congress party has also issued a three-line whip to its MPs to remain present and vote against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 in the Rajya Sabha till the discussion on the Bill is completed.
