Breaking | Sadiya Superintendent of Police transferred

Guwahati, November 5, 2018:

Sadiya's Superintendent of Police, Prasanta Sagar Changmai has been transferred and posted at the commandant of the 24th Assam Police Battalion (APBn), Baksa.

In place of Changmai, Debojit Deuri who was the commandant of the APBn has been post as the new Superintendent of Police, Sadiya.

It may be mentioned that Changmai's transfer came after four days of the Dhola Killings.

Earlier, KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi had demanded the government to suspend him alleging that he failed in maintaining law and order situation in his area.
