Troops of Border Security Force (BSF) under Guwahati Frontier apprehended two smugglers along with 41 Kg Ganja and 353 bottles Phensedyl in the bordering areas of village in Coochbehar in West Bengal. These contraband items were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh on the intervening night of September 9.
Acting on tip off, troops of BSF apprehended the smugglers while the consignments were trying to be “smuggled from India to Bangladesh”. Apprehended smugglers have been identified as Rahul Alam and Azimul Hoque. Both are resident of Coochbehar in West Bengal.

Apprehended smugglers and seized items have been handed over to Dinhata police station for further legal action.
On the other hand, BSF troops have also recovered 200 Nos Yaba tablets and 298 bottles Phensedyl in various other operations from bordering areas of Coochbehar in West Bengal, Dhubri & South Salmara in Asasm while the same were being smuggled from India to Bangladesh.
