COOCHBEHAR: The Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) seized a huge quantity of Ganja and other narcotic substances apprehending one person in West Bengal.
The BSF, Guwahati Frontier arrested the drug trafficker with the contraband drugs during Independence Day on August 15 under its crusade against drug trafficking activities.

Acting on a specific intelligence input the troops of Border Out Post Burabari, BSF carried out a special operation in the general area of Majirwadi village, in West Bengal's Coochbehar district close to Indo Bangladesh Border and arrested the drug trafficker.
They recovered 460 Nos Yaba tablets worth Rs 2.30 lakh, one motorcycle, one mobile phone, and cash Rs 5,935, Indian currency from his possession.
The seized Ganja was seized while it was being smuggled to Bangladesh from India.
