Acting on a specific input, BSF seized 35 kgs of marijuana and 140 bottles of Phensedyl in the bordering areas of Rajarbari, Baskotal and Khetabar Kunti-II, District Coochbehar in West Bengal.
The troops of Border Out Post Tilak of 47 Bn BSF seized 15 kgs of marijuana wrapped with plastic in an operation conducted at Rajarbari under Sitalkuchi Police state in Coochbehar district in West Bengal while in another operation conducted at Baskotal under Sahebganj Police Station in the district, the troops seized 20 kgs of marijuana wrapped with plastic and 20 bottles of Eskuf Syrup on 23 May 2020.

Meanwhile, in the third operation, the troops of Border Out Post Choudharyhat, 192 Bn BSF, under Guwahati Frontier, carried out a special operation in general area of village Khetaber Kutti Part-II under Sahebganj Police Station in Coochbehar district in the state seized 100 bottles of Phensedyl on intervening night of May 22.
Seized Ganja and Phensedyl were being handed over to Sahebganj police for further legal actions.
BSF troops are always alert towards the issues of trans-border crimes and illegal infiltration and are making all endeavours to contain such trans-border crimes.
