BTC Chief Pramod Boro allocates portfolios: Read full list here

KOKRAJHAR: Coinciding with New Year's day, the Bodoland Territorial Council chief Pramod Boro today allocated portfolios among the eight executive members, including his deputy chief Gobinda Basumatary, on Friday. BTC Chief Boro also announced that an executive council meeting would be held on 4th January in Kokrajhar.

"My government is committed to work for the welfare and development of the common people. Community's happiness would be top priority of my government," said Boro, adding "I have asked my executive members to be punctual while discharging duties and responsibilities."

The portfolios are as under:
Gabindo Chandra Basumatary - Panchayat and Rural Development and Small Scale industry department.
Ranjit Basumatary -- Forest Department
Ukil Mushahary -- Water Resource Department
Arup Kumar Dey -- Health and Family Welfare
Diganta Baruah -- Irrigation Department
Ganashyam Das -- Agriculture Department
Ranendra Narzary -- Transport Department

On the first day of 2021, BTC Chief Pramod Boro launched an web portal for online grievance redressal system at BTC Secretariat today. The online web portal has been designed and shall be run by IT department of BTC government which would be available on audio and video in the days to come.

Boro, extending New Year's greetings, said that citizens "must get healthy information and integration in days to come." A helpline number (01142213300) for all kinds of welfare and development services in the region.
