Boro today said that people's mindsets have to be changed first, so as to usher in development in the region, adding that the BTC Secretariat will be working round the clock to serve the people. "The coming together of the BJP-UPPL-GSP proves that we want to serve people from all backgrounds and communities. In our opinion, there is no difference of community or religion. All should be able to have two square meals a day and live their lives in peace. We are not here to lead, but to serve."

Boro also added that corrupt leaders will be shown the exit door during his reign. "If someone tries to earn riches by cheating the poor, we will do away with them," Boro stated, to rousing applause. During his first visit to his home Constituency since the election, the UPPL Chief also spoke of how he plans to work for the betterment of the poor and downtrodden masses of the region.
Boro, who was elevated as the Cheif Executive Member as the consensus candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), and the Gana Suraksha Party (GSP), today visited Goybari -- one of the two Constituencies where he emerged victorious.
Today, Boro, along with his family members, visited the Sri Sri Gopal Than and Rajahuwa Namghar where he knelt in front of the deity and offered his prayers. Boro, during his address, said that he has been connected with the Sri Sri Gopal Than and Rajahuwa Namghar ever since he was a child.
