Assam: Offline classes for I to VIII resume from October 19 thrice a week

GUWAHATI: The Assam Education Department is all set to resume the offline classes for the students of class IX, all Degree, and Post Graduation (PG) classes as well as I to VIII, said state Education Minister Ronuj Pegu today.

The regular offline classes for class IX, all Degree, and Post Graduation (PG) classes in the colleges and educational institutions in Assam will resume from October 1.

Meanwhile, the state education department has decided to hold classes thrice a week for the student of classes I to VIII which will be resumed after the Durga Puja vacation from October 19.

The regular physical classes for class XI will also start on October 19.

It needs to be mentioned that the offline classes for Class X have already been started.
