With merely a few months left for the 2021 Assam assembly elections, political war have started from all corners. In one such attack, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Assam Minority Development Board chairman Syed Muminul Aowal Goria expressed that several top congress sitting Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) will lose in the ensuing 2021 Assam assembly elections if they form alliance with the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).

Political heavyweights like former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi, his Member of Parliament son Gaurav Gogoi, Leader of Opposition in the Assam Legislative Assembly Debabrata Saikia, former state minister Ajanta Neog, Mariani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi and Roselina Tirkey will lose in their respective constituencies.

Aowal also went to the extent of saying that the political career of these Congress leaders will come to an end if they ally with the AIUDF. Aowal opined that these leaders will have to bow to the BJP to keep their political career alive.

The BJP leader also said that Tarun Gogoi will lose from Titabor constituency, Debabrata Saikia from Nazira, Ajanta Neog from Golaghat, Rupjyoti Kurmi from Mariani while Roselina Tirkey will be defeated in Sarupathar. He added that all these seats will be grabbed by the BJP in the 2021 assembly elections. He expressed that the saffron party will be benefitted by the Congress-AIUDF alliance while Congress will be the worst sufferer.

Aowal also said that the Congress will lose its existence in Assam after the 2021 state assembly polls while people like Maulana Badarruddin Ajmal wil become a heroic figure. He expressed confidence that the BJP will win over hundred seats in the 2021 state assembly elections.
