Congress-AIUDF pre-poll alliance confirmed: Badaruddin Ajmal

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal on Sunday stated that the pre-poll alliance between Congress and his party has been finalised.

Ajmal said this after meeting former state chief minister Tarun Gogoi at the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

Ajmal said that the entire process for the pre-poll alliance between both the parties is going in the right way and the alliance is inevitable. He said that the whole process would take momentum once Gogoi is released from hospital.
