Congress entered into 'unholy alliance' with Badruddin Ajmal in Assam: Yogi Adityanath  Yogi Adityanath

Nagaon, April 6, 2019:

The controversial Yogi Adityanath landed in Assam on Saturday to campaign for the BJP party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister delivered a speech to a crowd of supporters at Hojai to campaign for the party’s Nowgong candidate Rupak Sarmah where he lashed out at the opposition Congress party.

Yogi slammed the Congress and alleged that the Congress party has joined hands with the Muslim League ahead of the election. “Rahul Gandhi will contest from a seat at Kerala (Wayanad). Neither there was the flag of India, nor the palm of Congress. Only green flags of the Mulsim League bearing the stars and moon could be seen there. The Congress has entered an alliance with the Muslim League which is the reason for partition, due to which many innocents were killed. Where they have aligned with the Muslim League in Kerala, they have allied with Badruddin Ajmal in Assam.”

Yogi also took a swipe at Congress candidate from Nowgong Constituency Pradyut Bordoloi and called him a ‘failed Minister’ under the Tarun Gogoi administration.

BJP President Amit Shah and Ram Madhav too have alleged that an ‘unholy nexus’ exists in Assam between the Congress and AIUDF parties.
