Congress guarantees of Rs 365 as daily wages of tea garden workers

GUWAHATI: Indian national congress guarantees giving tea garden workers Rs 365 as daily wages if they voted to power in Assam.

One of the foremost Congress leaders from Assam, Rakibul Hussain said that the tea garden workers of Assam have everything to cheer about with Congress’ guarantee of Rs. 365 as their daily wages.

Posting a video on his Twitter handle, the Congress leader said,“ The video encapsulates the vision of happy days that Congress guarantees when it comes to power in Assam.”

Recently, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during her two-day visit to poll-bound Assam was seen plucking tea leaves at the Sadharu tea estate in Biswanath district while interacting with the workers to understand their fears and concerns, as well as their hopes and dreams.

She was also dressed in Assamese traditional attire ‘Mekhela-Chadar’.
