Congress turning into a party of Bangladeshi Muslims: Jayanta Malla Barua

Guwahati, December 3, 2018:

Chairman of Assam Tourism Development Corporation and BJP leader Jayanta Malla Barua on Monday said that the Congress has become a party of "Bangladeshi Muslims".

Speaking to the media in Jorhat, Barua said that the Congress has now turning into a party of the Bangladeshi Muslims.

He further stated that the Asom Gana Parishad's (AGP) regionalism is just a cloth that has been stitched by the threads of the Congress. "The AGP is not a party for the current generation. There are no new leaders in the AGP and we have been seeing the same AGP members for years now", he added.

Baruah also further stated that the person who support the AIUDF are supporters of jihadis.
