GUWAHATI: The Sub-Divisional Administration of Bokakhat had issued a fresh set of Standard operating procedures (SOPs) today for the tourists visiting Bokakhat where Kaziranga National Park is situated as well.
In view of surges in COVID-19 positive cases, the guidelines are mandatory to be followed by the tourists coming from other states than the North-eastern states.

The tourists were instructed to undergo Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for COVID-19 or else they have to produce COVID-19 negative reported tested done 72 hours prior to their arrival.
All the hotels, lodges, guest houses, and restaurant owners were directed to comply with the order with immediate effect.
For the convenience of the tourists, the Kohora Model Hospital had been designated as a testing center for COVID-19 as well.
