CRPF jawan shoots self in Guwahati, dies

Guwahati (Assam), September 25, 2019:

A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) committed suicide with his service rifle in Guwahati.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the 128th camp of the CRPF in Noonmati on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Kamal Singh. It was not immediately known what prompted him to take the extreme step.
