GUWAHATI: In a sensational robbery case, two bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 35 lakh in Guwahati’s Fatasil area.
The incident took place in front of the Fatasil HDFC bank today.
The miscreants who were in a black pulsar looted the sum from an Innova car bearing a registration number -AS01 DU 0003 that was parked in front of HDFC bank.
The money that was looted reportedly belongs to a businessman named Bhabendra Pal Singh.

The looted money was withdrawn from the State Bank of India (SBI) and the Baroda Bank at Paltanbazar by Pal's driver and one of his employees on his instructions.
The money was kept in their Innova car when the miscreants on motorcycles emerged and grabbed it from within.
The driver tried to catch the miscreants, but they attacked him and fled.
City police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
