It has been reported by the attended of a patient that the doctors and the nurses have paid no attention to the patients. Rather, the patients who are alive are rest on the flood of a morgue along with a dead patient lying on the bed for three days, they alleged.
On the other hand, Superintendent of Tinsukia Civil Hospital, Dr. NC Mahanta while addressing the media said, “I was not aware of the incident of the morgue that was going. The nurse in charge also did not inform me.”
On being question as why being the superintendent of the hospital he was not taking account of the hospital activities going on in the last three days, he replied that since the body was brought by the GRP as an accident case, until and unless they take away the body, and do the respective investigation, the authorities cannot do anything.
