A fourth dead body has been recovered at the NEEPCO blast site after a pipeline carrying water to Kopili hydro-power pipe burst in Dima Hasao district of Assam.

After eighteen days of the Umrangso tragedy, a latest dead body of missing NEEPCO employee was recovered by a rescue team comprising of NDRF, SDRF and Fire services on Wednesday afternoon. The dead body was identified to be of Raju Reddy.

Robert Ngamlai, Prem Pal Balmiki, Joy Sing Tisso, Raju Reddy were the four employees who went missing after a blast in a water tunnel near Umrangso early in morning of October 7. The body of Prem Pal Balmiki is yet to be found.
