HAFLONG: Debolal Gorlosa will be “kicked out” soon from the post of chief executive member (CEM) of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC).
This was stated by former MLA and CEM Samarjit Haflongbar of the Congress adding that Himanta Biswa Sarma was using him and his validity was about to expire.
Former CEM Debojit Thaosen also termed Gorlosa as “uneducated” and said that he “lacks knowledge”.
The two were reacting to Gorlosa’s allegation that panchayat raj was proposed in 2012 by the executive committee of Thaosen.
"A person against whom there are four criminal cases chargesheeted at court, what will be his mentality ... He will be kicked out of the CEM’s chair after the elections. Himanta Biswa Sarma is using him and his validity is about to expire,” Haflongbar said.
Haflongbar was reacting to Gorlosa’s statement about the Haflong-Jatinga road construction without the knowledge that the road was constructed by Simplex Infrastructures Ltd and there was no involvement of any Congress man in its.
He was also reacting to Gorlosa blaming Haflongbar of renewing the land lease of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltc (NEEPCO) in exchange of money.
Haflongbar warned Garlosa of defamation suit if he speaks any such things next time.
He also accused Gorlosa of looting all minor minerals of Dima Hasao such as stone and sand and also grabbing a lot of land in Dima Hasao.
“It’s time the people of Dima Hasao wake up and understand the policies and system of Garlosa and people will give their reply in the assembly elections,” said Haflongbar.
Thaosen also reacted to Gorlosa’s comments saying: “Those who have their brains in their knees think like the way Gorlosa does.”
“Gorlosa speaks without proper knowledge,” said Thaosen adding, “it’s like digging a grave and stabbing the dead.”
“Gorlosa is an uneducated man and speaks without proper knowledge,” he added.
