Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) chief Hagrama Mohilary has termed that democracy is totally murdered in BTAD region for not conducting council elections till date and Governor's Rule should not be extended anymore.
On Tuesday in Kokrajhar, BPF chief Mohilary said citizens from all walks of life are severe hardships due to ongoing Governor's Rule and non conducting of council elections till date.He said that dmocracy must prevail by conducting council elections.He said that democracy is totally murdered in BTAD due to non conducting the BTC council elections as five months has passed away Governor's Rule in BTC administration.

Mohilary said that protest agitation would be continued to put pressurise the government and election day for conducting of BTC election within October month.
On the BTR clause implementation, he said implementation of clauses of BTR accord is with government,not with me,I don't want to say anything about.
Mohilary affirmed, "There is no rift within BPF party,yes I admit words of war are seeing among party leaders like Probin Boro,Kampa Borgoyary and Biswajit Daimary.BPF is intact with integrity.

Mohilary appeal all sections of citizens to participate in the democratic protest agitation seeking BTC council elections.
A protest rally on demand of early conduct of BTC election within October month was carried out in Kokrajhar today which was organised by Youth Wing of BPF and Bodoland Students Union.
The rally was started from BPF party office via JD Road to DC office Kokrajhar and submitted a memorandum to chief minister and election commission for conduct of BTC election.
Hundreds of youth BPF activists and BSU members with banner,placards participated the rally.
