‘Dhing Express’ Hima Das has finished fourth at the third leg in the Indian Grand Prix athletics championships organised by Athletics Federation of India in her first race of the season, leading to disappointment among her fans.
She did not take part in the first and second leg of the event as she appeared for her Class XII exams at Dhing in Assam’s Nagaon district.
VK Vismaya won the women’s 400m race at the third leg with a time of 53.8 seconds. MR Poovamma came in second with a time of 54.06s and Prachi Choudhary was third with a timing of 54.49s.

The competitions are being held by the national athletics body as a build-up for the season which will conclude with the IAAF World Championships in September in Doha, Qatar.
