Dhola Killings | Prabal Neog files FIR against BTC Bengali Youth leader

Guwahati, November 3, 2018:

Following the tensed situation in Assam regarding the Dhola killings, United Liberation Front of Assam-Pro Talks leader Prabal Neog has filed an FIR against BTC Bengali Youth Students' Federation (BBYSF) president Sujit Sarkar for allegedly making communal and provocative statements at the Tinsukia Police Station.

Prabal Neog alleged that Sarkar is disrupting the peace and brotherhood in the State.

Earlier Sujit Sarkar allegedly made provocative statements which according to Neog have led to a communal tension in the state.

Neog added that if ULFA-PT leaders can be arrested for just speaking for the well being of the Assamese community and Assam then the police should also arrest Shiladitya Dev and Sujit for making such provocative comments that has led to a communal drift in the state.

The whole issue came after five persons were killed by unidentified gunmen on November 1.
