DHUBRI: Dhubri district administration provided fire accident relief to as many as five householders of Rouwa Part-I village under Dhubri revenue circle, where a major fire broke out damaging everything.
The fire caught around 9.20 pm on September 27 in which five families lost their livestock, crops along with all the household materials during the fire.
The Revenue Circle Officer, Abhijit Gogoi said, adding, "Immediate compensation is being disbursed to five family householders, who sacrificed their livestock, crops including all essential household accessories."

The Revenue Circle Officer said the basic needs of those five families accommodated in relief camps by providing food, comfort, and aid who have lost their homes to fire.
Since January this year, there have been many incidents of fire in the district affecting hectares of land, officials said.
