DHUBRI: Dhubri Forest Check Station Ranger seized approximately 250CFT teak pole size logs from Sapatgram, bordering Kokrajhar and Dhubri district.
A team of Dhubri forest staff and Kokrajhar forest staff raided a remote area of Bhelakoba at Sapatgram based on secret information and seized the teak pole size logs, said Dhubri Forest Check Station Ranger Harish Nath.

During the raid ranger along with Deepak Chandra Deka, DFO, Dhubri was able to seize two bans saw mills loaded with teak pole size logs of 250CFT.
However, the mill owners managed to flee the scene.
Later, a case was filed against the two banned saw mills, and further investigation is underway, said Ranger Harish Nath of Parbatjhora.
