DHUBRI: The people of Assam's Dhubri district could not hold their tears, as the district Superintendents of Police (SP)Anand Mishra moving from the district after he has been transferred to another place.
People of Dhubri holding banners in their hands were chanting " We want Anand Sir, We want Anand Sir".

In a video, they can be seen requesting SP Anand Mishra to note move from Dhubri.
Thanking for their huge respect, love, and affection towards him and respecting their feelings, SP Anand Mishra said, "Dhubri will always be there in my heart, and all the memories and good times will always remain in my heart.
He said that if the government didn't have such rules, he would have stayed here for the rest of his life.
"But, since there are rules and procedures, a new SP would replace me, and I want all of you to love and support him as much as you did me; your love is our strength," SP Anand, Mishra said.
"I promise that our bonding will not break, never. You can reach out to me whenever you want, I will respond to each one of you," he added.
The people of Dhubri demanded the state chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, governor Jagdish Mukhi, and other central ministers to cancel the transfer of SP Anand Mishra citing that Dhubri is in good hand.
SP Anand Mishra was born and brought up in Kolkata, but is originally from Bihar.
He decided to be an IPS officer when he was in class VIII.
He joined as an IPS officer in 2013 in Meghalaya.
