The Digital Media Journalists' Association of Assam lodged a FIR against the AIUDF chief Badaruddin Ajmal on Thursday. It can be noted that the AIUDF chief Badaruddin Ajmal verbally abused a local journalist and threatened to kill him while addressing a press conference at Hatsingimari on Wednesday.
Filing the FIR against the AIUDF chief, General Secretary of Digital Media Association of Assam said, “I believe the people of Assam did not come across such uncivilized and barbarous politician. The way he threatened the journalist is not acceptable. He and his party are in threat so they have lost their mind and uttered such things. He cannot silently seek apology in Twitter, the must seek apology in public the way he humiliated and threatened the journalist.
Ajmal on Wednesday verbally abused a journalist with unparliamentary words and yanked and threw the mic when asked about alliance with the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress. He categorically humiliated the journalist, pressurized the journalist to apologize in front of everyone and threaten that his thousands of supporters outside can end him.
