Dimasa National Liberation Army militants apprehended in Karbi Anglong

Diphu, May 4, 2019:

In a successful operation in the Karbi Anglong region, troops of the Red Horns Division of the Army apprehended two cadres of the Dimasa National Liberation Army (DNLA).

Based on intelligence report received regarding the presence of suspected cadres, the Army and Assam Police launched two joint operations on Thursday and apprehended two cadres of the militant outfit DNLA with one factory made .22mm pistol along with ammunition and counterfeit currency.

These apprehensions are expected to impede the activities of the DNLA in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
