Diphu | Government Review meeting held by the KAAC

Guwahati, February 6, 2019:

The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) convened a review meeting chaired by CEM Tuliram Ronghang with 30 departments. Many EMs, MACs and various heads of departments were also present in the Auditorium Hall of Arboretum cum Craft Centre in Diphu where the meeting was being held today.

During the meeting, the CEM directed departmental officers to immediately lodge FIRs against contractors who have not completed their work despite clearance of bill payments.

Ronghang also directed officers to immediately cancel all orders to those contractors which have been allotted long ago but have yet not been initiated and executed. A review meeting with contractors under State own priority scheme (SOPD) and other centrally sponsored schemes will be held tomorrow under the Chairmanship of Ronghang.
