DISTRIBUTION OF FAKE ATAL AMRIT ABHIYAN FAKE CARD TO POOR PEOPLE IN MERAPANI

A Case of deception comes to light in the Merapani area of Golaghat district.

The distribution of Atal Amrit Abhiyan Card amongst the poor beneficiary caused a malady for them. Irresponsibility of the State Health department and the Card Manufacturer Organisation has led the scheme into such a misappropriation

The scheme which was brought by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide comprehensive coverage and cashless treatment benefits upto Rs. 2 Lakhs to every individual from BPL and Low income households across Assam is on the verge of breakup.

For the inefficiency of the health  department the patients in critical state are now deprived of being its actual beneficiaries. The ongoing fraud regarding the Atal Amrit Abhiyan distribution system came to light when a poverty-stricken women named Matri Deka from Golaghat district Merapani suffering from cancer came to Guwahati for checkup . The utilisation of the card turned out to be a futile activity.

Such a case of fraud and deception has created a havoc among the people in the region.
