DHUBRI: The Dhubri district Administration and Drug Inspector in joint operation crackdown on illegal pharmacies selling counterfeit medicines sealed a pharmacy in Dhubri, Assam.
Acting on a tip-off Drug inspector P. Baruah raid a pharmacy raided the "Green Medical Hall" in the presence of the Executive Magistrate and seized counterfeit medicines from sealing the pharmacy.
Some unscrupulous gangs are now producing and selling counterfeit medicines near Dhubri Civil Hospital.

According to Baruah, only a few pharmacies are operating without proper documentation or legal authorization.
Action has been taken against such illegal drug dealers for some time, but few pharmacy owners have been able to speed up the process again. As a result, thousands of patients have been adversely affected.
Today, the Dhubri district administration launched a new crackdown on the illegal sale of counterfeit drugs, which resulted in the closure of the "Green Medical Hall" and the closure of many pharmacies, with the owners fleeing in the aftermath.
