GUWAHATI: A tremor -- the second within a week -- jolted Guwahati city of Assam around 10:32 pm on Thursday.
The low-intensity earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale occurred at latitude 26.19 North and longitude 92.05 East at a depth of 30 kilometers in Assam's Kamrup district.
No losses of life and property have been reported so far.
On February 17, an earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter Scale, was recorded in Assam. The epicentre of the quake was near Tezpur in Assam. No details regarding loss of life and property have been received yet.
