Eight Assamese to Participate in the Asian Dragon Boat Championships

Guwahati, November 15, 2018:

An overall of Eight players from Assam will participate in the 28-member Indian dragon boat racing crew in the 13th Asian Dragon Boat Championships at Foshan, China starting  from November 15 to 18.

The selected eight players would be part of the 28 member Indian dragon boat racing squad.

The selected players are Mainudding Ahmed, Rupen Rabha, Md Mushahab Ali, Bijuli Kalita, Beauti Kalita, Hiramani Kalita, Dipandita Kalita and Ameiya Kalita.

The Assam Traditional Sports and Dragon Boat Racing Association president Taher Ahmed and Secretary Anup Kr Choudhury, will be accompanying the Indian team as officials.
