Terming the members of the AGP party as ‘spineless’ and ‘Badan Phukan’, Gogoi added, “AGP chief Atul Bora did not utter a word, and this can be unfortunately called as the ‘Black Day’ for Assam, for which the people will have suffer in future.”
The former CM also called for the general public to take their stand and protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. He also appreciated the stand of the Chief Ministers of Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Nagaland saying that these leaders stand by their people and are least concerned about the power, whereas Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal and others are concerned about their powers, not their people.
