Association for Democratic Reforms, an NGO, has released an analysis of the performances of the Lok Sabha MPs of Assam. The organization has compiled a list of all the MPs of Assam who were elected to the Lok Sabha in 2014 and ranked them based on two categories: attendance in the Lower House and the number of questions they asked at the Lok Sabha.
As per the findings, Dibrugarh Lok Sabha MP Rameshwar Teli had the highest attendance as he attended 92% of the Lok Sabha sittings (288/312), while Tezpur MP Rajen Gohain, Barpeta MP Siraj Ud Din Ajmal and Dhemaji MP Pradan Baruah attended less than 50% of the sittings.

Moreover, Pradan Baruah of the BJP and Biren Sin Engti asked only one question each at the Lok Sabha. Dhubri MP Badruddin Ajmal asked the most number of questions (402). Silchar MP Sushmita Dev was not too far behind as she asked 317 questions.
