Explosion kills one, injures two in Sivsagar district of Assam

Guwahati, February 28, 2018:

One person was killed and two others injured in an explosion at GGS 6 unit of ONGC in Lakuwa in Sivsagar district of Assam.

The deceased Prashant Mohan was working in the GGS when a blast occurred at a tank and Prashant fell from a height of 45 feet to the ground.

Prashant was an employee of the Megha company engaged in ONGC work. Those injured have been identified as Pawan Mohan and Prabin Chetia. They have been admitted to the hospital and their condition is stated to be stable.
