Fake doctor arrested in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar (Assam), August 26, 2018:

A Class VII-passed, who was doing brisk business by allegedly posing as a doctor and running a chamber, was arrested by the police along with “medicines” in Lower Assam’s Kokrajhar.

According to the police, the accused, Hafiz Ajijur Rahman, was arrested for claiming to be a doctor and attending to patients at his chamber. He claimed that he was an expert doctor in treating patients suffering from piles and fistula.

However, during investigation, he was found to be only Class-VII passed. When reports last came in, he was being grilled by the police.
