Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) Chief Akhil Gogoi, who is camped out in national capital New Delhi to garner support against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016, spoke exclusively to InsideNE from the Indian Parliament grounds. In the discussion, slammed the “unconstitutional”, “undemocratic” and “communal” Bill.

“This Bill will hamper the very atmosphere of Indian democracy”, he added. Thus, he urged Indian politicians to be scrapped.
“If this Bill is passed, the Federal structure of India will be weakened and the people of Assam, Northeast, and other democratic people will speak against the Bill and against the Indian machinery”, he added.
