In the fifth International Veteran Football Championship, CMG club of Nepal, Manipur Veterans, have booked their berth in the semi-finals.

In the fifth International Veteran Football Championship, CMG club of Nepal, Manipur Veterans, have booked their berth in the semi-finals.

The championship has been organised by United Brother's Club (UBC), Guwahati who has been organizing the championship from the past three years.  Teams from all north eastern states join this championship every year.

As on Saturday, 7 matches were played in league basis. Narengi Football Club and Shillong Veterans both won the match against the I Sonali Otit team.

On the other side United Veterans of Kolkata won their first match in opposition to United Brother's Club by 4-1 goals, but lost their second match and ended with a draw against Duliajan Veterans.

Nepal also enters semi-final of the tournament by winning over Kokrajhar Veterans by 1- 0 goal.
