Five arrested with huge contraband drugs in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) along with a team of Noonmati Police Station arrested five drug traffickers with huge contraband drugs in Guwahati.

The seized contraband drugs include--50 vials suspected to be Heroin (16 gms), 107 empty vials, 12 Mobile handsets, 15 syringes.

The accused has have been identified as -- Ankurjyoti Das, Md Rahul Hussain, Ajit Saikia, Rajib Rajbangshi, Kishor Sarmah

Further investigation is underway.
